Problem Shooter Seals are Mechanical and Agitator

The mechanical seal helps to prevent the leakage, most in plumbing system. It helps to avoid contamination, by joining the systems together.

There are many type of mechanical seals available in the market. O-ring type, edge ring type, cartridge type, metal bellow, stationary ring, food pump etc seals are available in the market.  for the seals for the liquids, it is important to determine the pressure and temperature of the fluid on its location and help to maintain the pressure.

There are many plumbing mechanisms requiring different types of joints. The mechanical seals are used in compressors, pumps and in other applications in which the water or fluid are used. The mechanical seals provide the longer service life to the system.

The mechanical seals have two parts such as bushing mounted on the static seal provided by o-ring. The other part has a similar o-ring static seal. Both may have sliding bushing that press the seal faces together. That way the sealing procedure takes place.

The agitator seals are used for the vessels, pumps having high pressure and various systems. Where the ordinary seal is not effective, the agitator seals are used.

The seals are used in steel, glass lined and SS mixers and vessels. These seals are also utilized as buffer fluid.

There are the agitator seals available in the market widely used in pulper, plastics and pharmaceutical industries. Many wide range of the seals is seen in the market. One of them is a dry running mixer seal. It requires no shaft or sleeve for balancing. It minimized the cost of replacing and save the time as it may repair the system in the field.
